Political Campaigns
Social Media GraphicsPolitics has long been an interest of mine, and design has given me a meaningful way to contribute beyond casting a vote. I enjoy translating complex policy issues, campaign messaging, and current events into clear, compelling visuals that help people stay informed and engaged. Whether responding to breaking news or explaining an issue through a simple graphic, I believe thoughtful design can make civic participation more accessible.
That interest has led to an ongoing partnership with Delta Current Strategies, a Louisiana-based political consulting firm. Although I'm now based in the Washington, DC area, I maintain strong ties to New Orleans, where much of my career was built. Working alongside Delta Current's communications and strategy teams, I create rapid-response graphics, shareable infographics, and social media campaigns while maintaining each client's unique visual identity.
My work has supported Helena Moreno's successful New Orleans mayoral campaign and transition team, the Louisiana Democratic Party, the Louisiana House Democratic Caucus, and, most recently, Jamie Davis' U.S. Senate campaign.
Volunteer Work
Beyond my client work, I've also volunteered my design skills through Civic Power of Change, a nonprofit that connects creative professionals with political campaigns and advocacy organizations. These opportunities have allowed me to support candidates and use design to communicate clearly, engage communities, and encourage civic participation.
As a volunteer for CPC, I created a brand identity for Sarah Luhtanen, who ran for Justice of the Peace in Bentonville, AR.
As a teacher and lifelong Bentonville resident, Sarah wanted to present herself as an approachable member of the community, and better inform the public about the important work a Justice of the Peace does.
The color palette and typography are warm but authoritative. I created assets in English and Spanish to further connect her to Bentonville's hispanic residents.
A special thanks to Lauren Loisel and the team at Delta Current Strategies for their trust the opportunity to stay connected to Louisiana politics through freelance design work.
